This release is for users of multi-tenancy. If you do not wish to use multi-tenant features you should choose a different release. Multi-Tenancy is only available on nShield 5s. If you have a different nShield HSM you should choose a different release. CodeSafe 5 is not available with this release version. |
Get started with multi-tenancy
If you are new to multi-tenancy the recommended way to get started is:

Read Multi-tenancy on nShield 5s to understand the new terminology introduced by multi-tenancy and the main user roles, and to get an overview of how to configure your multi-tenant system.

Install HSM hardware as required, see nShield v14.1.1 Hardware Install and Setup Guides.

Install Security World software on any machines used, see nShield Security World Software v14.1.1 Installation Guide.

Refer to the relevant user guide for your role, either nShield v14.1.1 Service Provider User Guide or nShield v14.1.1 Tenant User Guide, for detailed procedural guidance on how to perform the initial configuration of the multi-tenant system.
After completing your initial configuration and when you have an operational multi-tenant system, refer to nShield Security World documentation and nShield API guides for further information on how to use the Security World features, utilities and APIs.
